We are hiring a Manager of Business Operations at our ethnic frozen foods plants to work exclusively out of either Robbinsville, NJ or Brooklyn, NY. In this role you are responsible for developing and executing key supply chain related initiatives for the business, representing Supply Chain as the point of contact and cross-functional leader for all Business Unit needs while ensuring there is efficient and effective communication between the Business Unit and all Global Supply Chain Departments for all projects.

    Responsibilities:

  • Will lead all initiatives relating to projects and lead with the Stage Gate Process in the Asian manufacturing facilities.

  • Facilitate communication and coordination of projects through various stage gates within the organization.

  • Ensure the timely submission of project documentation and status updates.

  • Collaborate with the Global Supply Chain team to align project activities and communicate progress through stage gates.

  • Participate in cross-functional project calls, ensuring effective communication and follow-up on action items.

  • Engage with technical teams to communicate project updates, resolve issues, and drive project progress.

  • Organize and lead weekly manufacturing calls to discuss production schedules, issues, and updates, and follow up on action items resulting from these calls.

  • Attend and contribute to weekly manufacturing synergy officer staff calls.

  • Follow up on key initiatives and decisions made during these meetings.

  • Take the lead in commissioning, qualification, and validation activities for capital projects at designated stages.

  • Provide Manufacturing updates and input for the organization's stage gate accolade process.

  • Maintain and manage the list of ongoing projects in Asian manufacturing facilities, ensuring accuracy and visibility.

  • Foster strong communication channels with various business units, functions, and technical teams to facilitate collaboration.

  • Act as a liaison between corporate headquarters and manufacturing plants, ensuring alignment on objectives and timelines.

  • Provide support to the Manufacturing Vice President and their staff in various administrative and communication tasks.

  • Manage Material Data Governance (MDG) and material code assignments for efficient inventory management.

  • Responsible to conduct yourself and ensure your subordinates (if applicable) conduct themselves in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct.

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Operations, Business Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

  • 5+ years related manufacturing and operations experience.

  • Experience in manufacturing environment with project management experience.

  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and MS Project.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and assignments.

  • Work closely within budgets.

  • Meet deadlines and achieve objectives.

  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate written and verbally across multiple team members and groups.

  • Manage confidential information.
